Early Spring Engagement Session | Farragut State Park

Chris & Kim met online and very quickly knew that they belonged together. Within 2 weeks of talking, Chris started the process of getting his passport to go visit Kim in Canada. After several months and many trips back and forth for both of them - Chris proposed to Kim on a hike in the same location where they had their first in person date. When they shared their proposal story with me, Kim said she knew on the hike leading up to him proposing that it was going to happen; but even still, she cried when he asked her to be his wife.

Kim reached out to me about doing engagement pictures for them because she had followed my work for years; and with her being from Canada and Chris being from Oregon, I was conveniently located part way in-between here in North Idaho.

After talking with them about what they would like setting wise for the engagement session, we decided that Farragut State Park would be the perfect location! It was a bit brisk the afternoon we met up, and the sun was touch and go; but there wasn’t any snow on the ground and we had some beautiful blue skies and fluffy clouds- which isn’t always the case at the end of March. I had such. great time with them and ended the session with my face hurting from smiling and laughing with them so much.
