Rainy Day Anniversary Photography | Athol Idaho

I was excited when Anna reached out to me and asked about a session because I already knew what a sweet couple her and Joseph are from having gone to the same church for several years. They celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary this year and folks, you'd never guess it, or that Anna has given birth to 7 children!

We planned on a sunset session with golden hour lighting but as North Idaho weather often does, it decided to rain on us instead. These two were such troopers and even though towards the end of the session we were getting POURED on (so of course we had to reenact the rain scene from The Notebook) they trusted me the entire time and we came away with some really beautiful pictures to commemorate their 20th anniversary!

Maria is a Couer D Alene Idaho based wedding and elopement photographer.   Her passion lies in authentically capturing couples through vibrant + emotion filled images while also showcasing the beauty of nature.  Her style is passionate, fun and adventurous and she believes capturing moments is waaaay better then perfect poses.  When she isn’t serving her amazing couples you’ll find her exploring Idaho with her husband Bryan, teaching karate, eating ice cream or hanging out with family & friends.
