A Hot Summer Evening At The Lake | Lake Pend Orielle, Idaho
Is there a better way to cool off on a warm summer evening than hanging out at the lake or beach with your love? I don't think so! Amy responded to a model call I put up on IG for this shoot and I'm so glad it worked out for her and Daniel to do it because the result was a productive yet fun + relaxing evening with friends. After the shoot we came back to Bryan and I's place and just chilled for a while, drank tea and visited. Which in my mind pretty much sums up one of the best parts of summer: evening get-togethers spent in good company and conversation.
Going into this editorial shoot I wanted to to create images that were casual, fun, intimate and simply screamed SUMMER. And I feel like we were successful on all accounts! We choose the perfect evening for the shoot where the temperature was concerned and even though the sky was filled with smoke, it created some reaaaal dreamy lighting for us.
